HOURS of OPERATION:
All day camp locations open for camper sign-in at 8:30am and program concludes each day at 4:30pm. Campers are welcome to arrive between 8:00am and 8:30 and stay past 4:30, until 5:00pm at no extra charge. Recreational program and supervision are available at those times. Camp's academic program is conducted between 9:00am and 4:30pm each day. All materials required for camp are provided.
TRANSPORTATION:
Debate Camp operates bus service in most of its day camp locations. Bus stops are located at specifically-designated areas, that allow for parent parking. Space on the camp bus must be reserved in advance of camp's opening day. Parents may re-enter their account and add or delete a bus option at any point before camp. Full details on all of camp's bus options are available via the TRANSPORTATION page.

AGE GROUPS and PROGRAM:
Debate Camp's day program suits campers in grades 5 - 10. All instruction is levelled according to camper age and ability. All day camp locations have all 3 program components, for all ages: Debate, Public Speaking and Model United Nations. See our PROGRAM DETAILS page for an additional overview of camp's program and our LEVELS page for guidelines used at all of our locations:

LUNCH:
At all Canadian locations, Debate Camp Canada provides an OPTIONAL hot lunch each day. If interested in purchasing lunch, parents / registrants can ADD this option when registering. At all American locations, campers bring a BAG LUNCH each day. Campers with dietary needs are welcome to supplement the lunch menu and / or bring their own lunch, provided they are NUT FREE. All campers are welcome to bring additional NUT FREE snacks to camp each day.

INFORMATION UPDATES:
We keep in touch with all of our camp families both in advance and during the camp session. Parents / guardians receive a confirmation email immediately following registration. A second email detailing pick-up / drop-off instructions, details about camp's Open House and any additional forms required ahead of opening day is sent within a month of camp (if registration date permits). During the week, pictures and daily updates are posted on camp's FACEBOOK PAGE. At the end of the week, a card that shares some of each camper's individual progress is available to parents / guardians and campers.

Debate Day Camp is exceedingly popular and most locations fill to capacity. In keeping with our 1:8 staffing ratio most camps are only able to fit in a limited number of campers. We recommend registering early!
